i'm holding out for a longer goodbye

So begins my last week in Edmonton.

Not much to say, really. Going to China still doesn't feel real--a curse of planning it for so long, I suppose. I really have only the faintest idea of what to expect, so I plan to just jump into it with both feet and see what happens. No use speculating here.

Boring post, I know. You'll all just have to deal with it.

I'm behind on everyone's journals. I've barely had time to write my own this last month... Planning something for years and years and then going and doing it is to say the least, totally awesome. I hope it changes your life for the better, well I know it will, but I really hope you realize it's changing your life.

One thing our instructors told us was when they were in school years ago, they said to each other, this is the best time of our lives and we don't even know it. I think most people don't know it... cause if they did they would appreciate it much more. Make sure you know it... Have fun and learn lots.

I am in town now, but I could be flying out again any day, so call if you wanna hang out b4 you go.

Best of luck. Love ya.

Can't wait till you get here. I know we'll be far away from each other but it'll be really nice to know that I have a friend in China. Keep in touch and have fun!!!
